In the main event, reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will put his title on the line against interim UFC Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje. The 32-year-old now turns his attention to Valiev (15-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who will be making his promotional debut. The Russian is undefeated in his last 13 fights dating back to 2016, with 11 of those wins coming by way of knockout or submission. This should be an exciting fight between two talented prospects at 135 pounds.
3:30 p.m. ET — Uros Medic vs. Aalon Cruz
Aalon Cruz will look to rebound from the first loss of his professional career when he takes on Uros Medic in a featherweight bout on the early prelims. Cruz (7-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) made a successful Octagon debut at UFC 246 in January,
